Gentle stretching is great but

HPS was born because I couldn’t find pilates workouts that challenged me physically without encouraging a transactional relationship with food or checking out of my body.

My classes are rooted in the belief that intentional, breath centric, and high sensation exercise (that feeling when you think your leg might fall off if you do one more rep) cultivates body awareness, promotes mindfulness (hard to think about your to-do list when your glutes are on *fire*), deepens muscle activation, and helps you build strength and confidence — so long as it’s fun, creative, and shame-free.
