You don’t have to be hard on yourself to work out hard.

I’m a pilates instructor who thinks fitness doesn’t have to be just gentle stretching and guided breathing to be anti-diet or body neutral.

You can push yourself, break a sweat, and embrace intensity without it being about shrinking yourself or earning your next meal. My approach is all about movement that feels good, challenges you in the best way, and helps you build strength and confidence — without the pressure, guilt, or outdated fitness rhetoric.

Gentle stretching is great but

HPS was born because I couldn’t find pilates workouts that challenged me physically without encouraging a transactional relationship with food or tuning out of my body’s wisdom.

My classes are rooted in the belief that intentional, breath centric, and high sensation exercise (that feeling when you think your leg might fall off if you do one more rep) cultivates body awareness, promotes mindfulness (hard to think about your to-do list when your glutes are on *fire*), deepens muscle activation, and helps you build strength and confidence — so long as it’s fun, creative, and shame-free.

If you love the satisfying, cathartic, wet noodle-y feeling you get after a killer workout but you roll your eyes when you hear the phrase “long, lean lines”… you’re gonna love it here.
