You Studio
A live virtual personalized pilates program that takes you from an unmotivated workout procrastinator to a consistent, embodied practitioner with the confidence and strength you’ve always wanted.
If you’ve started and subsequently canceled approximately 87 virtual training programs in the past because you:
doubted you could get a good enough workout without the energy of a group
couldn't summon the mental will to actually do the classes on your own
didn't know how to pair them with the IRL studio workouts you're into
were unclear about form and nervous about wasting your time or worse, injuring yourself
…you might fear you are doomed to squander precious time commuting to and fro between home and your preferred expensive boutique studio for the rest of your life.
…you might fear you are doomed to squander precious time commuting to and fro between home and your preferred expensive boutique studio for the rest of your life.
But here’s what you might not know:
there’s no substitute for a skilled teacher’s personalized feedback and exercise curation made for your specific needs and lifestyle, but you don’t have to go to a studio to get it.

You’re a perfect candidate for You Studio if you
Have been working out for months (or even years!) but aren’t seeing the results you actually want
Know the real benefits come with consistency—you just need a little support to make it happen
Have subscribed to on-demand platforms but never used them, even when you loved the classes
Can relate to feeling overwhelmed by the wellness space and just want an expert to handle the details
Already know everybody is different but need real guidance to find what actually works for YOU
Love Pilates but you’re uneasy about doing it unsupervised because you know form is so, so importante
Are aware that regular, focused practice could unlock new levels of confidence, calm, and mindfulness
Know that when you show up for yourself, you show up better for your loved ones, career, and life
Wish your workouts felt more personal, fun, and motivating—not just another thing to check off your to-do list
If you read this list and immediately thought:
“Is this f*cking play about us?!?!”
…you’re ready to join You Studio.
Consistently at home > struggling to make it to a studio occasionally.
if you're anything like me...
you are probably a sucker for the ~~vibes~~ of a fancy schmancy boutique studio.
It’s got whitewashed brick, a sans-serif logo, eucalyptus scented towels, and a $99 candle burning at the entryway?? Take all my money!
Alas, if you’re anything like me, your schedule is also probably full of life upkeep like work, keeping the spark in your love life, trying to make real friends as a grown-up, travel, therapy, doctor’s appts, trying to read for fun, or trying to not commit unintentional tax fraud…
You probably don’t have any spare time or (or money) to waste hoofin’ it across town commuting to a studio orrrr… the patience to risk wasting money on a class that doesn’t feel like it did anything.
This is especially enraging for us gals, as we statistically spend more money and time on beauty labor and self-improvement, and for what?
To still feel burnt out at the end of each day?
Working out at home with the specific exercise YOUR body needs…
minus the fluff gives you hours of your life back….which is huge,
because fitness is supposed to support your best life, not be your whole life.
Nelly was indeed correct when he crooned
“Ayyy, must be the money…” 🎶
An inconvenient truth:
sometimes we need to invest financially in something to jump-start our commitment.
It’s why those late cancellation fees from said fancy-schmancy studio used to get you out the door so effectively. We are 10000% less likely to flake on our movement sessions when we have an appointment, someone on the other end we’re letting down if we skip, and money left on the table if we snooze our alarm — but that appointment can take place on Rihanna’s internet and still be just as motivating.
You Studio helps you create structure without the commute on YOUR schedule.
You’ll get all the benefits of a live appointment, personalized feedback, and a little friendly hand-holding with a more accessible price, more ease working with your schedule, and no wasted time.
Plus, you’ll get regular accountability text check-ins from me to keep you on track when you need an extra nudge.

While you may get an instant high from a killer workout, the rest of the results take time.
What differentiates this program from everything else you’ve tried is that you are going to get the support to actually STICK to something for the amount of time needed to start to feel things shift through text message access and check-ins, live form feedback, and programming designed specifically for you.

All you need is room to roll out a mat.

We’ll work together to put together a schedule for you to work out, and I’ll send you reminders on the day you commit to working out to help gently nudge you along.
Life happens, of course, so rearranging your on-demand sched is never a big deal, but knowing you have a text in your inbox coming from me is often all it takes to get you to keep your word to yourself.

Everybody and every lifestyle is different. All you have to commit to is one weekly live session, and we’ll work together to figure out how often and when you squeeze in supplemental videos, if any.

As a believer in body neutrality, body diversity, and Intuitive Eating, I don’t feel comfortable making broad generalizations or over-promising based on fitness myths.
While you may experience aesthetic changes with a new, more in-depth movement practice, the only thing I, or any personal trainer worth their salt CAN promise you is improved strength, confidence, sleep quality, energy, pain management, and relationship to self.
By tuning into what your body is capable of vs punishing it for what it looks like, you’ll build confidence whether or not your appearance changes drastically (which is different for everyone!)
Most women who rely on willpower alone to do random workouts usually end up moving way less, with way less efficacy, with way more frustration.
This is not their fault.
Fitness motivation is a myth that came from the entanglement of wellness and diet culture.
We’re taught from a young age discipline is a virtue and “if he wanted to he would”. (We’re “he” in this scenario, FYI).
In actuality, we’re not biologically designed to WANT to work out—and I say that as a professional fitness lover and the specific breed of sociopath that REQUESTED working out on my bachelorette party!
The desire to conserve our energy is hard-wired in from the days of the saber-toothed tiger when we weren’t always confident about when our next meal would be.
We were not chained to our desks back in the day, and exerted way more energy through traveling, hunting, and gathering, so, our hairy ancestors didn’t NEED a movement practice to feel sane.
It’s not us being lazy that keeps us from being able to effortlessly self-start, it’s our bodies trying to protect us.

Here’s why that’s a huge problem:
White knuckling down and forcing yourself to work out might work in the short term…
but being unsure if you’re doing a movement correctly,
doing arbitrary workouts that aren’t aligned with your goals,
without an accountability buddy to gently nudge you (and remind you you’re a human,
[ burn out and frustration are inevitable ]
Getting stuck in that fruitless cycle is not so hot for our relationship with our bodies, exercise, and wellness
and makes us vulnerable to snake oil and quick fixes that rob us of our self-worth and cash.
If you can avoid relying on fleeting motivation,
throwing exercises at the wall to see what sticks,
and going it alone,
you’ll gain the strength, energy, and confidence you’re hoping for
a lot faster, and with a lot less negative self-talk.

"I need the energy of a group fitness setting to make a real effort”
The subtle competitive energy of having someone at the mat to your left in a group class is helpful to get you in the zone, but a few things matter more when it comes to results:
That you show up. Commuting to a studio isn't always possible.
That the programming matches your goals/injuries/experience level. A hard class ≠ an effective class, 100% of the time. Working with a trainer who knows YOUR body can be the difference between tiring yourself out for no reason and working smarter, not harder.
That you do the moves correctly, because enthusiasm without technique, unfortunately, doesn’t get us very far. Instructors can only be hands-on with so many people in a large group setting, and if the person next to you doesn’t know what they’re doing…you might end up wasting a lot of energy or worse, injuring yourself.
-
“The results I want only come from 60 minutes of all out intensity every single day.”
Putting pressure on yourself to spend a ton of time doing terrible-feeling workouts makes it much less likely that you’ll do it.
Not to mention, while yes, your workout should challenge you, sometimes challenge for challenge’s sake alone can have the opposite result you’re looking for:
burnout, injury, heightened resistance to actually showing up to do the work...
Consistency alone may not be enough, but consistency plus good form is the secret formula.
Luckily, it can be achieved in much smaller chunks of time than the IRL boutique fitness industry would have us believe.
-
“I have no idea how to pair pilates with the other workouts I love and end up doing random classes with no plan…and ultimately, no results.”
On-demand is a lifesaver in terms of convenience and accessibility, but it needs to be harnessed correctly to maximize its potential.
Not every workout has to be super goal oriented, all movement is good for you,
but if you are feeling stuck in a limbo and not feeling the benefits that you were hoping for, a more intentional approach might be appropriate.
-
“Without the structure of having to show up IRL at a studio, I’m more likely to late cancel on myself”
I am a Virgo moon, you don’t need to tell me twice about how important structure is to one’s sanity — but working out at another location is not the only way to create a structure for yourself.
You can create the same tension that keeps you consistent as IRL appointments without having to suffer through public transportation and inclement weather- you just have to get crafty.
There’s nothing wrong with you or your motivation levels, you just haven’t set up the right systems for success yet.

so, I've learned a thing or two about setting up systems of structure for success for my fellow neurodivergent friends.
Trite but true:
random workouts get random results.
Call me Eli Gemstone if you must, but I am a group fitness/at-home on-demand sweat session evangelist.
I love ‘em.
But group or on-demand classes aren’t always right for every phase of life for every person.
However, when you do have specific fitness goals like:
attempt the pilates method for the first time and not feeling completely mystified when the instructor purrs something esoteric like “breathe into your left lung”
run a race/marathon
prep for/recover from childbirth and honestly, mom-ing en generale (which is a marathon, let’s bffr!!!)
rehab an injury or getting the hang of how to move best with a chronic issue
return to exercise after a long hiatus and rebuilding confidence and body trust
or even to just fast-track progress towards overall improved strength and fitness, etc
…bespoke exercise curation and expert form feedback created expressly for YOU and your individual habits, lifestyle, movement patterns, objectives, and schedule is going to hit a LOT harder, a LOT faster than generalized workouts.
